Alyssa Aulbach, DVM

Dr. Bolton was born in New Orleans, LA but grew up most of her life in Southwestern Virginia. She graduated from Hollins University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. Then moving to Prince Edward Island, Canada she went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Atlantic Veterinary College in 2016. Before joining Earlysville Animal Hospital, Dr. Bolton worked for 5 years at Kiln Creek Animal Care in Newport News, VA. Her veterinary interests include dermatology, preventative medicine, dentistry, behavior, and nutrition.

Dr. Bolton has also completed her Fear Free Elite and Cat Friendly Veterinary Certification. Dr. Bolton resides in Charlottesville, VA and outside of work enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling. Her furry family includes Huxley, a Goldendoodle, and Jackson, a German Shorthaired Pointer.
