To celebrate passing our AAHA evaluation with flying colors, we held an Open House on June 4.

We had refreshments, carriage rides, activities for children, demonstrations, hospital tours, raffles, and a cake walk. The doctors and staff had a great time...I hope everyone who attended did too.

Dr. Emily Kinnaird taught us how to read our dogs and what every puppy should know.

We had information about reading pet food labels, Lyme Disease, and your pet's physical exam in dogs and cats.

The children had their faces' painted.

The staff provided cakes and other goodies for the cake walk.

We had displays of surgery and dental procedures using stuffed animals and the monitoring equipment and instruments we use every day on our patients.

We had displays of routine and dental X-rays. Our visitors had the chance to put on the lead gloves, mittens, aprons, and thyroid shields the technicians and assistants wear when they take radiographs

Earl Lloyd brought his Morgan horses and carriage and gave rides to the Earlysville Grill so everyone could get ice cream cones. Yummy!
